The Library is getting a face lift!

And after. There is a few things that still need to be buttoned up, but the building is looking so much better.
What: FREE Community Emergency Response Team training (“CERT”) – basic skills for emergency preparedness and local volunteer response to disasters
Who: any community members who register at the provided link and complete the mandatory online course (takes between 1 – 5 evenings to complete for most participants). Minors are welcome, so long as their guardians are also participating.
When: Saturday, May 30, 2026, 8 am to 5 pm
Lunch will be provided!
Where: Preston Hot Springs Town-County Library
Why: to become better prepared to handle disasters locally and confidently respond in ways that keep your households, neighborhoods, workplace, and community safe!

Upon successful registration, you will receive email instructions for how to access the online portion, which can be completed at your leisure, but must be completed at least 2 weeks before the class (due Fri, May 15, 2026)
